24 hours, a Challenge out of the Norm…

On the 21 and 22 of October 1995 were unforgottable days in my life of blind runner. The Circuit of about 1 km was going through the center of Manois a very nice village of the Haute Marne and with the other competitors, we had to run for 24 hours without stopping.

I had based my race of an average of 10 km per hour but the night was bitter cold and that actually troubled my running plans as well as the food I had plan to eat.
The following morning, I took back my initial pace and regain ground.
At the end of those 24 hours, I came in 4th out of 34 while having run 212,3 KM , which is still my by performance in this disciple to this day.

Thank you to all of my co-runners who helped me to live this challenge.
