a Georgian soldier both legs amputated
"Aleko Gitolendia, a Georgian soldier both legs amputated, aims to establish the record for the longest distance without stopping, swimming in open water, for a person with this type of disability.
During his record attempt Aleko will only use his goggles. All other equipment will be banned. This attempt will probably be made in August this year.
We will follow Aledo with great attention and we wish him already, good luck for his future challenge."
