In the Pacific Ocean, between the islands of Taha 'a and Bora Bora, Alexandra Caldas, only 23 years old, has covered the 43.5 kilometers that separate these Polynesian islands in less than 5 hours with the sheer strength of her arms and legs.
Suffering from Mucoviscidosis and diabetes, transplanted at the age of 17, this young Parisian wanted to convey a message of hope.
Upon arrival on the beach of Matira de Bora Bora, in the company of her team of rowing rowers, the young woman curled and exhausted was greeted by Tahïssian fields to salute the incredible feat accomplished on this day.
