Thierry Corbalan Won his Bet !
Around 8 AM, with his mono –palme, the Ajaccio citizen was taking the departure on one of the beaches in the Island of Montécristo this Saturday Septembre 30.
After 26 hours of swimming, he was reaching Bastia after a trip of 80 km.
This fantastic record was not without difficulties. As soon as he was in the water, a sea with more than 2 meter waves gave him a hard time for several hours. Then on about more than 15 km he encounter jelly fish with a lot of burns.
And to finish, cherry on top of the cake, an acting up stomach. An amazing cocktail for a crossing out of the norm for the “Corse Dolphin”.
