Philippe Croizon set himself a new challenge on the occasion of this 14th of July, the day of the national holiday in France. The Poitevin adventurer, amputee of the four limbs, experienced a new adrenaline rush in the company of his brother, Jean-Luc, firefighter at SDIS86 (Departmental Fire and Rescue Service).

Jean-Luc was to march in the Vienna Fire Brigade. Unfortunately, the health crisis has decided otherwise. On Monday, they had taken the road to the Lann Bihoué naval airbase in Morbihan, Brittany, where a French Navy Falcon was waiting for them, for a flyover of Paris on July 14, 2020.

The link is strong between Philippe Croizon and the French Navy. In 2010, Croizon swam across the English Channel, accompanied by a National Navy security device (helicopter...).

For this July 14, Philippe Croizon will not be at the controls of the aircraft but will be well installed in one of the seats of the aircraft, in the company of his brother and the rest of the crew.

"I thank the Naval Air Force for allowing us this extraordinary moment of emotion. At this moment, I am thinking mainly of the health care workers and the "resilience" operation. » Philippe Croizon

On Tuesday, July 14, the day began at 6 a.m. with a final briefing before boarding Dassault Aviation's Falcon 50 Ms. After take-off, the pilots waited for instructions by conducting laps over Villacoublay Air Base 107 to synchronize their flyover over Concorde Square. »

And here are the friends passing over the Champs-Élysées! If I had been told on my hospital bed that I would one day march with the NavyNational... Remember that anything is possible, you have to dare in life and especially believe in your dreams! »
