Egypt, last Tue, May 8th, the Russian Dmitrii Pavlenko, amputated of his four members has succeeded his world record during a deep dive to 40 m in total autonomy.

We can already congratulate Dmitrii Pavlenko for this incredible challenge and his record will be published very soon on our website as soon as we get the proving documentation reviewed by our experts.

Mount Everest : measures prohibiting disabled people from climbing the mountain have been lifted after being judged discriminatory (Montagnes-magazine, @cecitroc-infos)

Last December, the state of Nepal introduced measures prohibiting blind people and double amputees from mountain climbing. The measure, judged discriminatory, was finally repealed in March thanks to actions led by campaigners for disabled people’s rights.
