If you thought that our international football were stars...

At the age of 6, Mohamad Sesay-alias Balotelli-had only known war.

On January 6, 1999, he was playing with his friends when the shots rang. "My mother took me in her arms and ran to the mountains. “Seven men caught up with us, hit her, and then I fell on the floor. She escaped, but I was taken to the village. They gathered everyone and the machete shots started: hands, legs, genitals, ears, fingers, heads.... Everyone was screaming, the rebels were shooting, I was crying. It took them five strokes to cut my leg, and then I fainted. " A team of doctors Medecins Sans Frontieres saved his life. Years later, after a very difficult life, beggin in the streets of Freetown, he discovered football for amputees. "We were champions of Sierra Leone and I was the top scorer of the African Cup". At the age of 22 years old, he died of liver failure shortly after this testimony.

Football for amputees has its own Cup of the. Angola is THE champion . The seven players of each team have one leg, except the goalkeeper who has two legs, but has only one arm. You have to play with crutches, but you can't use them to touch the ball. As the terrain is smaller, there is no offside.

Like Spain, you will find other national organizations of this type in several countries.

France, former rugbyman, embarks on the challenge of swimming to Saint Tropez...

For some, disability is not synonymous with reduced abilities, quite the contrary, it is a reason for self-overcoming. Tony Moggio, a former amateur rugbyman, is one of them.

In 2010, an accident caused by a match makes him a quadriplegic. He decided to make his handicap an asset. « This accident allowed me to exist, to open my eyes to the good and the bad and to make a lot of beautiful encounters ", he was positive. In 2015, he published a book full of hope, entitled Broken Hooker (Privat editions).

Three years later, he feels the need to embark on a new challenge...

On June 14, 2019, he will connect the port of Sainte-Maxime to that of Saint-Tropez, which is 4 km at the sole strength of his arms. With this challenge, he wants to convey a message of hope: " The impossible does not exist! »

Burma, a young player not like the others...

Last January, with two goals scored in a local tournament, the young Kaung Khant Lin became an icon in his club in the suburbs of Yamgon.

With a single leg valid, the young Burmese footballer rotates with incredible agility, performing a perfect race on the ground leaving everyone on the spot and then pulling from the left foot.

Kaung can achieve this feat since the age of 5 years thanks to a wooden crutch made by his uncle for his greatest happiness.

Supporter of Manchester United and fan of a certain Lionel Messi, he does not intend to leave it there, Kaung Khant Lin clearly shows his ambitions by wanting to become a coach.

The Toyota GT86 is the "reasonably fast" car piloted by  guests of the British Top Gear program. Toyota gave the wheel, on the circuit of the Dunsfold aerodrome (England) used in the show, to a blind man. Amit Patel, formerly doctor, lost his sight in 2013. He had not driven since.
